Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care to surgical patients under the supervision of Consultant and Specialist surgeons.

- Evaluate patients presenting with acute and elective surgical conditions.
- Assist in the diagnosis and management of general surgical cases.

Our client, a leading hospital in Dubai that is part of a well-established healthcare group, is seeking an experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeon to join its specialist surgical team and provide comprehensive plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgical care.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise in plastic and reconstructive surgery, excellent surgical and patient management skills, and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered surgical care within a multidisciplinary hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide consultant-level plastic and reconstructive surgical services within the hospital.
- Conduct comprehensive surgical consultations, clinical assessments, and pre-operative evaluations.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of plastic surgery conditions and surgical cases.
- Perform elective and reconstructive plastic surgery procedures in accordance with established clinical standards.
- Develop individualized surgical treatment plans based on patient needs, clinical findings, and desired outcomes.
- Perform pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments and provide appropriate follow-up care.
- Manage complex surgical cases and provide expert clinical guidance when required.
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to established surgical protocols and infection-control standards.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurses, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant EMR documentation and medical records.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, surgical procedures, expected outcomes, risks, and post-operative care.
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and hospital-wide healthcare programs.
Requirements
- Medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Specialty qualification, Board Certification, or higher qualification in Plastic Surgery.
- Proven specialist experience in Plastic, Reconstructive, and/or Aesthetic Surgery.
- Minimum 3 years of current UAE clinical experience in a hospital or surgical setting.
- Must hold one of the following:
- Active DHA Consultant Eligibility Letter, or
- Valid DHA Consultant License.
- Proven experience in performing a broad range of plastic and reconstructive surgical procedures.
- Strong surgical judgment, clinical decision-making, and patient management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence, and high-quality surgical outcomes.
- Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred.

Contract Duration: 2 years (renewable)
Probation Period: 6 months
Salary & Benefits
Salary: AED 75,000 – 85,000 per month (based on qualifications and experience)
