Our client, a leading hospital in Ajman that is part of a well-established healthcare group, is seeking an experienced Women’s Imaging Radiologist to join its radiology department and provide specialized diagnostic imaging services focused on breast and female imaging.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise in Women’s Imaging, with experience in breast imaging, mammography, breast ultrasound, and female pelvic imaging. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering accurate, timely, evidence-based, and patient-centered diagnostic care within a multidisciplinary hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist-level Women’s Imaging services within the hospital.
  • Perform and interpret a range of breast and female imaging examinations.
  • Interpret mammography, breast ultrasound, pelvic ultrasound, and MRI studies within the scope of training and hospital services.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic and screening mammography, including digital mammography and tomosynthesis where available.
  • Perform and interpret breast ultrasound examinations for screening, diagnostic assessment, and further evaluation of breast abnormalities.
  • Perform and interpret pelvic and gynecological ultrasound examinations, including transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasound where applicable.
  • Evaluate breast masses, calcifications, asymmetries, architectural distortions, and other breast abnormalities.
  • Evaluate imaging findings related to the uterus, ovaries, adnexa, and other female pelvic structures.
  • Perform or assist with image-guided breast procedures, including ultrasound-guided and stereotactic biopsies, where within clinical privileges.
  • Review clinical history, previous imaging, and relevant laboratory or pathology findings to support accurate diagnosis.
  • Prepare clear, accurate, and timely radiology reports.
  • Identify and communicate urgent, suspicious, or critical imaging findings promptly to the treating physicians.
  • Recommend appropriate additional imaging, follow-up, or tissue diagnosis when clinically indicated.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary discussions and breast or gynecological case reviews when required.
  • Correlate imaging findings with clinical examination and other diagnostic investigations.
  • Ensure appropriate use of imaging protocols and radiation safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant EMR documentation and medical records.
  • Work closely with radiographers, sonographers, nurses, surgeons, gynecologists, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical governance, and departmental protocols.

Requirements

  • Medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • Specialty qualification, Board Certification, or higher qualification in Radiology.
  • Additional training, fellowship, or significant clinical experience in Women’s Imaging / Breast Imaging is preferred.
  • Valid MOH Eligibility Letter or Active MOH License.
  • Proven experience working as a Radiologist with strong experience in Women’s Imaging, breast imaging, or a related subspecialty.
  • Strong experience in mammography, breast ultrasound, and female pelvic imaging.
  • Experience in image-guided breast procedures is preferred.
  • Ability to accurately interpret diagnostic imaging studies and provide timely radiology reports.
  • Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence, and high-quality diagnostic care.

Job Details

Location: Ajman, United Arab Emirates
Facility Type: Hospital / Healthcare Group
Position: Women’s Imaging Radiologist
Working Hours: 48 hours per week
Shift: Rotating shifts among the Radiology Specialist team
Contract Duration: 2 years (renewable)
Probation Period: 6 months

Salary & Benefits

Salary: AED 35,000 – 45,000 per month

Salary will be determined based on qualifications, years of experience, and clinical expertise.
