Our client, a leading private healthcare group in Dubai, is seeking a full-time Psychiatry Consultant with expertise in family-related psychiatric concerns and stress-related disorders. The ideal candidate will also be skilled in delivering psychotherapeutic interventions such as CBT, CBD, and other therapy modalities, providing a comprehensive approach that bridges medical psychiatry and psychological care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and formulate accurate diagnoses
• Manage cases involving family dynamics, stress-related disorders, and general psychiatric conditions (anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, panic attacks, psychotic disorders)
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, combining psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy, and lifestyle guidance
• Provide CBT, CBD, and family therapy sessions directly
• Conduct risk assessments and provide crisis intervention when necessary
• Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and patient records
• Participate in departmental meetings, case discussions, and continuous professional development
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance within the psychiatry department

Working Conditions:

• Location: Dubai, UAE
• Shift Type: Day shift
• Working Hours: 48 hours/week
• Contract Period: 2 years, renewable
• Probation: 6 months

Requirements:

• Medical degree from a recognized, accredited university
• Completed specialist training in Psychiatry
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in reputable hospitals or mental health centers
• Valid DHA Consultant License or Eligibility Letter
• Experience in providing CBT, CBD, and family therapy is essential
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach

Salary & Benefits:

• Consultant-level salary: AED 60,000 – 70,000 per month
