The successful candidate should demonstrate strong clinical and surgical expertise in general ophthalmology and retinal surgery, including:

• Posterior Segment (Surgical Retina) procedures
• Routine and specialized ophthalmology procedures, including minor surgeries, laser treatments, and intravitreal injections
• Comprehensive diagnosis and management of a wide range of ophthalmic conditions

Preference: Candidates currently residing in Dubai with experience working in well-established Dubai hospitals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Provide comprehensive ophthalmology care for adult and pediatric patients
• Diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of ophthalmic conditions
• Perform posterior segment surgeries, minor procedures, laser treatments, and intravitreal injections
• Conduct thorough eye examinations using advanced diagnostic and imaging equipment (OCT, fundus photography, etc.)
• Collaborate with ophthalmic technicians, optometrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and patient records
• Participate in continuous professional development and contribute to the advancement of the ophthalmology department

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Location: Dubai, UAE
• Shift Type: Day shift
• Working Hours: 48 hours/week
• Contract Period: 2 years, renewable
• Probation: 6 months

EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Medical degree from a recognized university
2. Completion of specialist training in Ophthalmology
3. Minimum 3 years of clinical and surgical experience in Dubai private hospitals
4. Valid DHA Consultant or Specialist License
5. Experience in Posterior Segment (Surgical Retina) procedures
6. Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach

SALARY & BENEFITS

• Specialist-level salary: Starting from AED 55,000 per month
• Consultant-level salary: Starting from AED 80,000+ per month, commensurate with experience and tenure in Dubai hospitals
