Ophthalmology Consultant (Dubai)

Our client, a reputable private healthcare group in Dubai, is looking to hire a Full-Time Consultant Ophthalmologist with expertise in retina, pediatric ophthalmology, and anterior segment to join their advanced eye care team. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical and surgical experience in these subspecialties and be committed to delivering patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Provide comprehensive ophthalmology care with a focus on retina, pediatric, and anterior segment cases
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of ophthalmic conditions in both adults and children
• Perform retina procedures, including intravitreal injections, laser treatments, and retinal surgeries
• Conduct anterior segment surgeries such as cataract and corneal procedures
• Carry out thorough eye examinations using advanced diagnostic equipment
• Manage pediatric eye disorders with a sensitive, child-friendly approach
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and patient records
• Collaborate with ophthalmic technicians, optometrists, and other healthcare professionals

Working Conditions

• Location: Dubai, UAE
• Shift Type: Day shift
• Working Hours: 48 hours/week
• Contract: 2 years, renewable
• Probation: 6 months

Educational & Professional Requirements

• Medical Degree from a recognized university
• Completion of specialist training in Ophthalmology
• Fellowship in retina, pediatric ophthalmology, and/or anterior segment
• Valid DHA Consultant License or eligibility letter
• Proven experience in surgical and medical management of retina, pediatric, and anterior segment cases
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach

Salary & Benefits

• Competitive consultant-level salary: AED 60,000 – 75,000/month (including allowances, depending on experience)
