Gastroenterology Consultant (Dubai)

A leading healthcare facility in Dubai is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist with a valid DHA Consultant License. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong clinical expertise and proven competency in:
- Diagnostic & therapeutic ERCP
- Third-space endoscopy procedures (POEM, ESD, EMR)
- Advanced interventional endoscopy techniques
- Comprehensive gastrointestinal disorder management
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Diagnose and manage complex gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders.
- Perform and supervise advanced endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy, upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, and third-space endoscopy (POEM, ESD, EMR).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Ensure full compliance with DHA clinical and documentation standards.
- Participate in clinical leadership, training, mentoring, and quality improvement initiatives.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Working Hours: 48 Hours / Week
- Shifts: Day Duties
- On-Call Duties: Shared and rotated among consultant team
- Contract Period: 2 Years Renewable
- Probation Period: 6 Months
EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Medical degree from a recognized university.
- Completion of a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology.
- Valid DHA Consultant License in Gastroenterology.
- More than 5 years of post-specialization experience in well-established hospitals in Dubai (not clinics).
- Proven expertise in ERCP and advanced/third-space endoscopy (POEM, ESD, EMR).
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
Gross Salary:
AED 90,000+, with additional performance-based incentives.
Gross Salary includes Basic Salary, Housing, and Transportation.
