Our client, a leading hospital in Ajman that is part of a well-established healthcare group, is seeking an experienced Radiology Specialist to join its radiology department and provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging services.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise in Radiology, with experience in interpreting a broad range of diagnostic imaging studies and providing accurate, timely, and clinically relevant reports. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist-level radiology services within the hospital.
• Perform and interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging examinations.
• Interpret X-rays, ultrasound, CT scans, and MRI studies within the scope of training and hospital services.
• Review clinical information and previous imaging studies to support accurate interpretation.
• Prepare clear, accurate, and timely radiology reports.
• Identify and communicate urgent or critical findings promptly to the treating physicians.
• Perform ultrasound examinations and image-guided procedures where applicable and within the scope of clinical privileges.
• Correlate imaging findings with clinical history, laboratory results, and other diagnostic investigations.
• Provide appropriate radiological advice and recommendations to referring physicians.
• Participate in multidisciplinary discussions and clinical consultations when required.
• Ensure appropriate use of imaging protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant EMR documentation and medical records.
• Work closely with radiographers, technicians, nurses, consultants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical governance, and departmental protocols.

Requirements

• Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Specialty qualification, Board Certification, or higher qualification in Radiology.
• Valid MOH Eligibility Letter or Active MOH License.
• Proven experience working as a Radiology Specialist in a hospital or recognized healthcare setting.
• Strong experience in diagnostic imaging and radiological interpretation.
• Ability to provide accurate and timely radiology reports.
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence, and high-quality diagnostic care.

The successful candidate will be committed to delivering safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist-level emergency medical care within the hospital emergency department.
• Conduct rapid and comprehensive assessment of patients presenting with acute and emergency conditions.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of medical, surgical, and traumatic emergencies.
• Stabilize critically ill and injured patients and initiate appropriate emergency treatment.
• Manage acute presentations including chest pain, respiratory emergencies, abdominal pain, neurological conditions, infections, allergic reactions, and other urgent medical conditions.
• Assess and manage patients with trauma and acute injuries according to established emergency protocols.
• Perform and interpret appropriate clinical assessments and diagnostic investigations.
• Initiate appropriate treatment plans based on clinical findings, investigations, and patient condition.
• Monitor patients’ clinical status and respond promptly to changes or deterioration.
• Perform appropriate emergency procedures within the scope of training, competence, and hospital privileges.
• Coordinate patient referrals, admissions, transfers, and specialist consultations when required.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Collaborate with consultants, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant EMR documentation and medical records.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and emergency department protocols.
