Our client, a leading hospital in Dubai that is part of a well-established healthcare group, is seeking an experienced Pediatric Pulmonary Consultant to join its pediatric specialty team and provide comprehensive respiratory care for infants, children, and adolescents.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise in pediatric pulmonology, with proven experience in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of respiratory conditions affecting children. The successful candidate will be expected to provide safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide consultant-level pediatric pulmonary services within the hospital.
- Conduct comprehensive pulmonary consultations, clinical assessments, and evaluations of pediatric patients.
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of pediatric respiratory disorders.
- Evaluate and manage children presenting with asthma, recurrent respiratory infections, chronic cough, wheezing, sleep-related breathing disorders, and other pulmonary conditions.
- Assess children with complex respiratory symptoms and determine appropriate diagnostic and management pathways.
- Order and interpret relevant laboratory investigations, chest imaging, pulmonary function tests, and other respiratory diagnostic studies.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, diagnostic results, and patient needs.
- Manage complex pediatric pulmonary cases and provide specialist clinical guidance when required.
- Provide appropriate follow-up care and monitor treatment response and disease progression.
- Coordinate care with pediatricians, allergists, ENT specialists, intensivists, radiologists, sleep specialists, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
- Educate children and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, prognosis, and ongoing respiratory care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant EMR documentation and medical records.
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to established clinical protocols and hospital standards.
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and hospital-wide healthcare programs.
Requirements
- Medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Specialty qualification, Board Certification, or higher qualification in Pediatric Pulmonology / Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine.
- Must hold an appropriate DHA Consultant License / Eligibility Letter.
- Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred.

Salary & Benefits
Salary: AED 70,000 – 85,000 per month
Salary will be determined based on qualifications, licensing status, experience, and clinical expertise.
