Our client, a leading hospital in Ajman that is part of a well-established healthcare group, is seeking an experienced Consultant Endocrinologist to join its specialist medical team and provide comprehensive endocrinology and metabolic care.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise in Endocrinology, with experience in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of endocrine, hormonal, metabolic, and diabetes-related conditions. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level endocrinology services within the hospital.
• Conduct comprehensive consultations, clinical assessments, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of endocrine and metabolic disorders.
• Evaluate and manage patients with diabetes mellitus and related complications.
• Diagnose and manage thyroid disorders, including hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroid nodules, and other thyroid conditions.
• Assess and manage disorders of the pituitary, adrenal, and other endocrine glands.
• Manage metabolic conditions, including obesity, dyslipidemia, and related endocrine disorders.
• Diagnose and manage hormonal disorders affecting both male and female patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, clinical findings, laboratory results, and diagnostic investigations.
• Monitor treatment response and adjust medical management as clinically appropriate.
• Provide appropriate patient education regarding disease management, lifestyle modification, medications, and long-term care.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians, surgeons, gynecologists, cardiologists, dietitians, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant EMR documentation and medical records.
• Provide specialist consultation and clinical guidance to other physicians when required.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and hospital-wide healthcare programs.

Requirements

• Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Specialty qualification, Board Certification, or higher qualification in Endocrinology.
• Valid MOH Consultant License or MOH Evaluation Letter.
• Proven experience working as a Consultant Endocrinologist in a hospital or recognized healthcare setting.
• Strong clinical experience in the diagnosis and management of endocrine, hormonal, metabolic, and diabetes-related conditions.
• Proven experience managing complex endocrinology cases and long-term chronic conditions.
• Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic reasoning, and patient management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence, and high-quality patient care.
• Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: AED 65,000 – 75,000 per month

Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, licensing status, and clinical expertise.
