Our client, a leading outpatient medical center in Dubai that is part of a well-established healthcare group, is seeking an experienced Pediatric Specialist to join its pediatric team and provide comprehensive outpatient medical care for infants, children, and adolescents.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise in general pediatrics, with proven experience in the diagnosis, management, and follow-up of a broad range of pediatric conditions. The successful candidate will be expected to provide safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care within a professional outpatient environment supported by a wider network of hospitals and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist-level pediatric services within the outpatient medical center.
- Conduct comprehensive pediatric consultations, clinical assessments, and evaluations.
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
- Evaluate children presenting with common pediatric illnesses, infections, allergies, respiratory conditions, gastrointestinal complaints, and developmental concerns.
- Monitor children’s growth, development, nutrition, and overall health.
- Provide preventive pediatric care, including routine health assessments and appropriate vaccination guidance.
- Order and interpret relevant laboratory investigations, imaging, and other diagnostic studies.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, diagnostic results, and patient needs.
- Provide appropriate follow-up care and monitor treatment response and disease progression.
- Identify cases requiring referral to pediatric subspecialists or hospital-based care.
- Coordinate patient care with pediatric subspecialists, emergency physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals within the group when required.
- Educate parents and caregivers regarding diagnoses, treatment options, preventive care, nutrition, and ongoing management.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant EMR documentation and medical records.
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to established clinical protocols and healthcare standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical programs within the medical center and healthcare group.
Requirements
- Medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Specialty qualification, Board Certification, or higher qualification in Pediatrics.
- Must hold an appropriate DHA Specialist License / Eligibility Letter.
- Proven clinical experience in general pediatrics, preferably within an outpatient or hospital setting.
- Strong clinical, communication, and patient-management skills.
- Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred.

Contract Duration: 2 years (renewable)

Salary & Benefits
Salary: AED 30,000 per month
Salary will be determined based on qualifications, licensing status, experience, and clinical expertise.
