A prestigious hospital in Qatar is seeking a highly skilled Neurology Consultant to join its team. The successful candidate will provide expert care for patients with a wide range of neurological conditions, performing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Diagnose and manage neurological disorders including stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, neuromuscular diseases, and neurodegenerative conditions.
• Perform advanced neurological procedures such as EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, and lumbar punctures.
• Develop personalized treatment plans to optimize patient health outcomes.
• Ensure patient safety and satisfaction through comprehensive pre- and post-procedure care.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and compliant medical records in accordance with Qatar Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) guidelines.
• Educate patients and families about neurological conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with colleagues across medical specialties to enhance patient outcomes.
• Stay updated with global best practices and advancements in neurology.
• Uphold the highest standards of professional ethics, confidentiality, and clinical excellence.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Location: Qatar
• Setup: Hospital / OPD
• Working Hours: 48 hours per week
• Shifts: Day duties
• Contract Period: 2 years (renewable)

EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

1. Medical degree from a recognized and accredited university.
2. Residency or specialized training in Neurology.
3. Eligibility to obtain QCHP (Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners) Consultant license.
4. Demonstrated expertise in advanced neurological procedures and patient management.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Gross Salary: 

QAR 65,000 – 75,000 per month plus incentives (Inclusive of Basic Salary, Housing, and Transportation)
