We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmology Consultant with strong clinical and surgical expertise in general ophthalmology and posterior segment (retinal) surgery. The ideal candidate should be skilled in managing a wide range of ophthalmic conditions and performing advanced procedures, including intravitreal injections, laser treatments, and minor surgeries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive ophthalmology care for adult and pediatric patients
• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of ophthalmic conditions
• Perform posterior segment surgeries, minor procedures, laser treatments, and intravitreal injections
• Conduct thorough eye examinations using advanced diagnostic and imaging tools (OCT, fundus photography, etc.)
• Collaborate with ophthalmic technicians, optometrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and patient records
• Participate in professional development and contribute to the growth of the ophthalmology department

Requirements:

• Medical degree from a recognized university
• Completion of specialist training in Ophthalmology
• Minimum 3 years of clinical and surgical experience in Dubai private hospitals
• Valid DHA Consultant License or Eligibility Letter
• Proven experience in posterior segment (surgical retina) procedures
• Excellent communication skills and patient-centered approach
• Preference for candidates currently residing in Dubai

Working Conditions:

• Location: Dubai, UAE
• Shift Type: Day shift
• Working Hours: 48 hours/week
• Contract: 2 years, renewable
• Probation: 6 months

• Consultant-level salary: Starting from AED 80,000+ per month (commensurate with experience)
