A well-established hospital in Dubai is seeking a Neurosurgery Specialist to join its surgical department. The role involves working as a rotating surgeon under the supervision of Neurosurgery Consultants, supporting complex surgical procedures and managing inpatient and outpatient care. A valid DHA Specialist License in Neurosurgery is required, along with solid clinical experience in a hospital setting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the diagnosis and management of neurological and neurosurgical conditions.
- Act as a rotating surgeon under the supervision of Consultants during cranial and spinal procedures.
- Participate in daily rounds, pre-operative planning, and post-operative patient management.
- Coordinate with the medical team to ensure continuity of care and efficient case flow.
- Ensure documentation and clinical reporting are in line with DHA and hospital policies.
- Take part in academic sessions, departmental meetings, and case discussions.
ROLE DETAILS:
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Working Hours: 48 hours per week
- Shifts: Rotating Shifts
- Contract: 2-year renewable
- Probation Period: 6 months
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Medical degree from a recognized university
- Completion of residency in Neurosurgery
- Valid DHA Specialist License in Neurosurgery
- Minimum 3 years of post-residency experience, with at least 1 year in the UAE preferred
- Competency in assisting with major neurosurgical cases and managing routine neurosurgical care
- Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical judgment skills
SALARY & BENEFITS:
- Gross Monthly Salary: AED 45,000 – 55,000
(Inclusive of basic, housing, and transportation allowances. Final offer will be based on experience and qualifications.) - Additional Benefits:
