The successful candidate should demonstrate strong clinical expertise in psychiatry, with a primary focus on family-related psychiatric concerns, stress-related disorders, and addiction. The role also involves managing general psychiatric conditions such as panic attacks, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and psychotic disorders, ensuring comprehensive care across diverse patient needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and formulate accurate diagnoses
• Manage cases focusing on family dynamics, stress-related disorders, and addiction, as well as general psychiatric conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy, and lifestyle guidance
• Conduct risk assessments and provide crisis intervention when necessary
• Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and patient records
• Participate in departmental meetings, case discussions, and continuous professional development
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance within the psychiatry department

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Location: Dubai, UAE
• Shift Type: Day shift
• Working Hours: 48 hours/week
• Contract Period: 2 years, renewable
• Probation: 6 months

EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Medical degree from a recognized, accredited university
• Completed specialist training in Psychiatry
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in reputable hospitals or mental health centers
• Valid DHA Specialist or Consultant License, or eligibility letter.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach

SALARY & BENEFITS

• Specialist-level salary: AED 40,000 – 50,000 per month
• Consultant-level salary: AED 60,000 – 70,000 per month
