Our client, a highly respected tertiary care hospital in Dubai, is seeking a Consultant in Pediatric Intensive Cardiac Care (PICU) to join their specialized pediatric team. The ideal candidate will bring deep clinical expertise, leadership, and a proven track record in managing complex cardiac cases in critically ill children.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Provide expert-level care for critically ill pediatric patients with cardiac conditions
- Lead the PICU team in clinical decision-making, daily rounds, and emergency interventions
- Collaborate with pediatric cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and multidisciplinary ICU staf
- Develop and implement evidence-based care plans and protocols
- Supervise junior doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals in the unit
- Ensure high standards of documentation and compliance with DHA and hospital policies
- Communicate effectively with families, offering clarity and compassion
WORKING CONDITION
- Location: Dubai, UAE
- Setting: Pediatric Intensive Cardiac Unit
- Hours: 48 hours/week, with on-call duties as per hospital policy
- Contract: 2 years, renewable
- Probation: 6 months
EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Medical degree from a recognized university.
- Completion of fellowship/training in Pediatric Intensive Care/Cardiology
- Valid DHA Consultant License in Pediatrics (with PICU specialization)
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a PICU Consultant
- Excellent communication skills and patient-centered approach.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
Gross Salary:
- AED 60,000 – 75,000 (inclusive of basic, housing, and transportation)
