Our client, a reputable healthcare provider in Dubai, is seeking a NICU Registrar with strong Level 3 neonatal experience to join their highly specialized Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate must be passionate about neonatal care and skilled in managing critical and complex cases, including high-risk deliveries and premature newborns.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Manage Level 3 neonatal cases, including the care of extreme preterm babies
- Attend and support high-risk deliveries
- Perform advanced neonatal procedures: endotracheal intubation, mechanical ventilation, UVC, UAC, ICD insertion, and TPN initiation
- Diagnose and treat neonatal conditions such as PPHN, MAS, RDS, neonatal sepsis, and other pathologies
- Provide continuous monitoring and care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary NICU team
- Counsel and support parents of critically ill newborns with professionalism and empathy
- Ensure all clinical documentation is accurate and complies with DHA regulations
- Maintain readiness for emergency interventions and adapt to dynamic clinical scenarios
WORKING CONDITION
- Location: Dubai, UAE
- Shift Type: Rotational Shifts (Day/Night)
- Working Hours: 48 hours/week
- Contract: 2 years, renewable
- Probation: 6 months
EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Medical degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent) from a recognized university
- Valid DHA General Practitioner (GP) license or eligibility
- Proven hands-on experience working in a Level 3 NICU environment
- NRP Certification (mandatory)
- Strong procedural skills in neonatal care and interventions
- Effective communication skills, including counseling parents of critically ill newborns
- Willingness to collaborate closely with a highly skilled NICU team
SALARY AND BENEFITS
Gross Salary:
- Gross Salary: AED 15,000 – 20,000 per month
(Includes Basic Salary, Housing, and Transportation)
