A reputable hospital in Dubai is currently seeking a highly qualified Orthopedic Consultant to join its surgical team. The ideal candidate must hold a valid DHA Consultant License and have at least 3 years of experience practicing in Dubai. The position requires advanced orthopedic surgical skills, particularly in joint replacement, trauma management, and sports injuries, along with strong collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of orthopedic conditions and musculoskeletal injuries.
- Perform complex surgical procedures including joint replacements, fracture repairs, and arthroscopic surgeries.
- Collaborate with physicians from other specialties to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide mentorship and clinical guidance to junior doctors and medical trainees.
- Ensure full compliance with DHA regulations and hospital clinical standards.
- Participate in audits, continuous quality improvement, and case review discussions.
Working Conditions
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Working Hours: 48 hours per week
- Shifts: Daytime duties
- On-Call: Shared equally among the Orthopedic Consultants
- Contract: 2-year renewable
- Probation Period: 6 months
Educational & Professional Qualifications
- Medical degree from a recognized university
- Completed residency in Orthopedic Surgery
- Valid DHA Consultant License
- Minimum 3 years of Consultant-level practice in Dubai
- Advanced surgical skills in joint, trauma, and sports injury management
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
Salary & Benefits
- Gross Salary: AED 65,000 – 85,000 per month
(Inclusive of basic salary, housing, and transportation. Final salary will depend on experience and expertise.) - Additional Benefits:
