Our client, a reputable private hospital in Dubai, is seeking a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Specialist to join their inpatient team. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of the PICU Consultant and will be responsible for monitoring, documentation, and supporting patient care within the unit, without independent clinical duties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Assist PICU Consultants in the management of critically ill pediatric patients
- Conduct rounds, monitor vitals, and update medical records
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure smooth inpatient care
- Respond promptly to any clinical changes under Consultant direction
- Maintain clear and thorough documentation for all assigned cases
- Adhere to hospital protocols and DHA regulations
WORKING CONDITION
- Location: Dubai, UAE
- Setting: Pediatric Intensive Cardiac Unit
- Hours: Rotational (including nights and weekends)
- Contract: 2 years, renewable
- Probation: 6 months
EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Medical degree from a recognized university.
- Completion of fellowship/training in Pediatric Intensive Care/Cardiology
- Valid DHA Specialist License
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a PICU Specialist
- Excellent communication skills and patient-centered approach.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
Gross Salary:
- AED 40,000 – 60,000 (inclusive of basic, housing, and transportation)
